About Us

Hello Cache Valley! We are the Christensen Family. We purchased the Horlacher butcher shop on Main Street, and are now CACHE VALLEY MEATS. Ryan and Jared are the owners here at Cache Valley Meats - a Father and Son team that is hard to beat. Ryan is our butcher. He is a graduate of the Meat Services program at Bridgerland Tech. After graduating, Ryan worked for 2 years in a grocery store meat department, then 2 years for a custom cut shop before choosing to bring his skill set back to Logan to serve the great people of Cache Valley. In our retail shop, you will find all of the great cuts of meat you would expect from a butcher, as well as some trendy specialty sandwich meats and 'easy meal' options for busy families. We bake rolls fresh, in-house daily that pair well with our French Dip and Barbecue Pork. In addition to our retail store, we offer Mobile Harvesting for your farm-to-table experience. We also process wild game. We are thrilled to be here serving the families of Cache Valley.
